What is a focusplane ?

What does this app do ? Cutting right to the chase, this app allows you to add one task at a time, focus only on that one task, and then train your mind to continue thinking and doing only that one task till you call it "DONE". The onus to make sure there is no distraction is on you. To make sure there is no phone, no social media, no other media distractions, no human or pet or otherwise distractions, no physiological or psychological distractions, nothing else!
Mind wanders and that is an age old problem. Lots of big souls have had trouble in harnessing one's minds or tap into its full powers. At the minimum, it is hard to create focus and then sustain it. There are apps for timer or pomodoro technique or pomodoro timer and many similar apps. There are some that will help you take notes. There are many that will lock out your screens or just prevent you from doing things but in a way, such enforcing does not help in the long run. Focus plane app is where your mind is being trained to do one thing at a time, to focus on one work at a time. The flight app simulator or plane scenario is where the user is taken to a higher plane which is a manifestation for low distractions. User has to mentally reach this higher plane and silence one's mind. At this level, the user has to focus on the whole spectrum of the task at hand. Rather than just doing tasks in a mundane manner or in a mindless manner as a series of just tasks that can be done by a robot; this app trains your mind and soon you are performing tasks in a mindful manner. If you are not comfortable with this level, you go to the app and again increase the height by about 10,000 ft. At this level, you tell your mind to basically get serious about the task and the goal is to have more focus and mindfulness now than what you had 10000ft below. Write down the distractions and silence your mind. Increase again by 10000ft.
Of course there is no magic switch that is there anywhere outside your mind which will automatically adjust your mind settings. This is what the simulation of that will do and train your mind to get there. The difference between a mind and a super computer is that at the end of the day the super computer is still a logical entity with set amount of logical instructions. It might computer trillions of pentabytes of data and yet things happen in a measurable way with resources being the limits. The mind on the other hand can envision the above and do something else in blink of second. And a focussed mind can achieve a lot more. The testimony to that is the human contribution in the last 5000 years or so. Discount all negativities of wars and hate and just see how much science and math and other wonderful things have happened. How many stories were told and poetry written in various languages. All this happened because across all corners of the earth, there were quite, marvelous, intelligent and focussed minds who applied their mindfulness in topics where they were alone. This app might not capture everything but at least one aspect of it and hopefully become a suite of similar helpful aids from the larger community.
